We leave Hurghada in the night so you reach Luxor in time for the sunrise flight. After landing, your Egyptologist guide takes you through the highlights of the West Bank and Karnak Temple. The balloon flight, all entrance fees and lunch are included in the price.

Hot air balloon at sunrise, Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple and Karnak Temple
Pick-up from your Hurghada hotel at about 01:30 for the night drive to Luxor. At the West Bank launch site you join your hot-air balloon for a flight of about 45 minutes as the sun rises over the Theban hills, the Nile and the temples below.
After landing, visit three tombs in the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. Lunch is at a local restaurant, then cross to the East Bank for Karnak Temple.
Drive back to Hurghada, arriving at your hotel at about 20:00.

- Balloon flights in Luxor usually pause in the hottest summer months (around June to August). Travelling then? Ask us first and we will confirm whether the balloon is flying.
- If the balloon cannot fly on the day because of wind or weather, the Luxor tour still goes ahead and the balloon part of the price is refunded.
- Balloon flights are not suitable during pregnancy or for travellers with serious back problems.

What if the balloon cannot fly on the day?
Wind or poor visibility can stop the flights on the morning itself. The Luxor tour still goes ahead, and the balloon part of the price is refunded.
Isn't the night drive tiring?
You can sleep in the car on the way to Luxor. If you would rather rest, choose our overnight Luxor trip and add the balloon on the second morning.
