Senator, sailed under the Steigenberger name by the Jaz Hotel Group, is an all-suite ship with just sixteen suites, which gives it the feel of a private yacht. Each suite measures about thirty-two square metres and opens onto its own terrace, and thoughtful touches include an espresso machine, a tea and coffee tray and a minibar refilled every day.
The interiors take their cue from Oriental design. On the sun deck, a swimming pool and pool bar offer a quiet retreat in the afternoon heat, and the charcoal sauna and massage service help guests unwind after long days at the temples.
